4.12.2003: Konjakk presentasjon i Paris 4 desember 2003

Thursday December 4th 2003, the French-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce in Paris organised a cognac tasting for their members in the residence of H.E.M. Sven Erik Svedman, Ambassador for Norway in France.

As a special event and probably for the first time, they had invited together the five "norwegian" cognac houses.

-  Bache Gabrielsen represented by Mr Bache Gabrielsen.

-  Birkedal Hartmann represented by Mrs Kim Birkedal Hartmann,Ivan Birkedal Hartmann(former norwegian Consul in Bordeaux), Madame Kim Birkedal Hartmann and Bente Birkedal Hartmann.

Birkedal Hartmann's representative for special events, Mr Alexandre de Montesquieu was also present.

-  Jenssen represented by Mr Espen Schulerud.

-  Larsen represented by Mr Fredrik Larsen.

-  Tiffon Braastad represented by Mrs Antoine Braastad and Robert Braastad.

The evening was opened by a speech of the Ambassador H.E.M. Sven Erik Svendman and, later Mr Toralf Bolgen, well known norwegian owner of the restaurants Bolgen & Moi, explained to the assembly the joys of Cognac.

130 guests attended the tasting that lasted approximatly 3 hours.

Each one of the 5 cognac houses offered a special bottle to the Ambassador.
