Chateau Castera
 Chateau Castera stands massive and reassuring on the hillside above of Saint-Germain d'Esteuil, as if guardian to the tranquility of the village. Deer coming to drink at the edge of the forest and the freshness of the gardens still damp from the morning dew remind us of the unchanging pleasures of life and the continuity of human experience. One can not stand in this place and not imagine the thousand pardons and benedictions spoken in the chapel, or the whispered conversations held under the cedars. GO !
